LURE COURSING

In April of 2013 Brady and Tana tried Lure Coursing at the National Dalmatian Specialty during the Dals Do It All fun afternoon.  Brady immediately decided this was a sport designed with him in mind.  In April Lure Coursing trials were held east of Colorado Springs.  Brady was entered as was sister, Joie, who had never seen a course.  Both Brady and Joie earned their AKC Coursing Ability titles.  What a fun weekend we had.   Photos by  KC THOMPSON OF KC Snaps.

The launch!

Brady flies through the course of 600 yards in about 45 seconds.

At the end Brady loves to ‘kill’ the bags.

Joie is focused on the bags at the start.

Joie is off and running.

Joie runs like a sight hound.

At the end of the course Joie gets the bag.
